The boundaries of Medchal-Malkajgiri are Yadadri
district to East, Sangareddy district to West, Siddipet district to North,
Hyderabad district to South and Ranga reddy district to South-east. According
to 2011 census, the district consists of 2,542,203 population and occupies an
area about 5,005 sq.km.
Divisions
There are Two revenue divisions in Medchal-Malkajgiri
namely Malkajgiri and Keesara. Each divison is divided into Mandals. There are
14 mandals in the district and has an Assembly constituencies in Medchal,
Malkajgiri. M.V.Reddy is the collector to the district.
