Medchal-Malkajgiri District News on Geography

The boundaries of Medchal-Malkajgiri are Yadadri district to East, Sangareddy district to West, Siddipet district to North, Hyderabad district to South and Ranga reddy district to South-east. According to 2011 census, the district consists of 2,542,203 population and occupies an area about 5,005 sq.km.


Divisions

There are Two revenue divisions in Medchal-Malkajgiri namely Malkajgiri and Keesara. Each divison is divided into Mandals. There are 14 mandals in the district and has an Assembly constituencies in Medchal, Malkajgiri. M.V.Reddy is the collector to the district.


Tourism

Medak News



Medak is one of the 31 districts in Telangana. The district's original was Siddapuram and later changed to Gulshanabad means “City of Gardens” and later named as Methukuseema called ad Medak. The boundaries of Medak are Warangal and Nalgonda districts to East, Karnataka state to West, Nizamabad district to North and Hyderabad district to South. According to 2011 census, the district consists of 767,428 population and occupies an area about 2,740.89 sq.km. The district is a part of Red corridor. Kadaleru, Valdhi, Manjeera and Gudleruvagu are the rivers that flows through the district.

Siddipet Bathic paintings, Silver and Woodenwares are famous in the district. The district is also listed in one of the 250 most backward districts in the country. Mancherial district news on Geography

The boundaries of Mancherial are Gadchiroli district to East, Nirmal district to West, Komaram Bheem district to North, Peddapalli district to South, Bhupalpalle district to South-east, Adilabad district to North-west and Jagtial district to South-west. According to 2011 census, the district consists of 807,037 population and occupies an area about 4,056.36 sq.km. The River Godavari flows through the district on the north side.
